Church on the Street

Northampton

Church on the Street is exactly what it says it is. The Church meeting on the street. This was established in the spring of 2019 as part of the vision to present the Gospel we serve to all mankind.

Church on the Street holds no denominational allegiance, it is made up from a mixture of men and women who believe that the call of Christ should take us beyond the comfort and the security of our buildings. As part of the whole Church, it has been established to serve the whole church by seeing those who come to salvation integrated into local, existing fellowships who have the capacity and the structure in place to disciple, nurture and encourage a variety of people who come with a vast array of addictions, situations, hurts, lifestyles and backgrounds. But should that spiritual home not be readily found, Pastor Stan and the team will carry the responsibility untill it is.

Church on the Street meets on the market in Northampton every Sunday morning for an informal gathering. Breakfast is served to the Homeless as part of the overall outreach from 8.30. Followed on the last Sunday of each month with a Gospel Service, hosted by local fellowships. There is also ongoing street ministry throughout the week.

All are welcome to join us and more information can be found on the C.O.T.S. website.

The vision is to establish Church on the Street as a visual fellowship, meeting with those who are lost, right where they are at, in every town and city across this nation.

Lets not be strangers to those who are currently strangers to the Gospel.

'Not called!' did you say? 'Not heard the call,' I think you should say. Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help. Go stand by the gates of hell, and hear the damned entreat you to go to their father's house and bid their brothers and sisters and servants and masters not to come there. Then look Christ in the face -- whose mercy you have professed to obey -- and tell Him whether you will join heart and soul and body and circumstances in the march to publish His mercy to the world."  -  William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army
